Lobo – Jason Mamoa

Like a couple of others on the list, Jason Mamoa was born to play a comic book character. While he made Aquaman cool, Lobo is cooler. Lobo’s solo film has been in and out of development for a long time. Warner Bros casting has always been a strong suit for them. We already have Aquaman covered but Mamoa is a perfect Lobo. With this DCEU looking to expand its list of characters they turn to The Main Man.

Deathstroke – Ben Affleck

You didn’t think we’d leave off Big Ben, did you? No matter how people feel about him there’s no denying that Affleck is built to play a comic book hero. He’s arguably the greatest Batman ever and he’d be a fantastic Deathstroke. Affleck is a Warner Bros. guy and there’s no way they would have let him slip through their fingers.

Joker – Adrian Brody

There’s no reason to believe that Joker would not have made a return. No one can replace Heath Ledger, but Joker would have lived on. There’s arguably no better actor perfectly suited for the role. In fact, Brody was considered to play Joker in Chris Nolan’s film.  Moreover, he expressed interest in playing a villain.

"“I would do it if I feel I can contribute something valuable and that the role would be interesting to me… “To me, the villains are way fun! But [studios] don’t offer me those roles. If there is an opportunity to do something like that and play a comic book hero or villain, that’s not something I’m fundamentally opposed to.”"

So, why not Joker? In this scenario, Warner Bros. called him up and asked him to play the role. This could have tied into the tale that there are multiple Jokers in DC.
