Huntress

One the names allegedly considered for the role early on was Lady Gaga and fan favorite, Alexandra Daddario. Of course, neither of those names surfaced in the most recent reports. In fact, one of the names circling the role is Margot Robbie’s Wolf of Wall Street co-star, Cristin Milioti.

Like Helena Bertinelli, Milioti is of Italian descent and as Teressa in Wolf of Wall Street proved she couldn’t be overshadowed even while on-screen with Leonardo DiCaprio. Milioti also played in How I Met Your Mother, Fargo, and most recently Unbreakable You. Sofia Boutella is another name being expected to be in the running for Huntress

Margaret Qualley is another actress vying for the role. Qualley is 5-foot-8 with the perfect look for Huntress and a resume to back it up. She’s a rising star who many might remember for her rolein The Nice Guys as Amella. She also starred the HBO series, The Leftovers where she played a bad girl early on. But her Leftovers character paled in comparison to her Death Note character, Mia who had a God Complex, to say the least.

Qualley has a number of upcoming films Strange but True, IO, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Native Son, Against All Enemies.  We would love to see her in the role, but WB allegedly has their eye set on someone else.

As talented as Qualley actress it appears that Warner Bros. wants is 10 Cloverfield Lane’s Mart Elizabeth Winstead. And, we can’t help but have her as our favorite actress to land the role. Many fans fell in love with Winstead as Ramona when Scott went through hell battling her ex’s in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World.

Winstead also stared in the 2011 horror remake The Thing, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter and Fargo. She has a couple of projects on the horizon: All About Nina, The Parts You Lose, and Gemini Man. Both Qualley and Winstead bring something great to table as Huntress but with WB looking for names, we’d imagine it’s Winstead’s job for the taking.
