McGregor as Black Mask works well. He’s an underrated, talented actor who burst into the scene playing a heroin addict in the critically acclaimed drama Trainspotting. From there he became synonymous with Star Wars after playing Obi-Wan in the not so well received George Lucas Star Wars Trilogy. Since then McGregor played in more critically acclaimed films like The Ghost Writer, The Impossible, and Haywire. Most recently he portrayed an adult Christopher Robin in Disney’s live-action movie based on the Winnie the Pooh character. He also reprised his role in the well-received sequel to Trainspotting, T2.
Fans of Copley got to see his critically acclaimed performance in the alien period piece set in 1982, District 9. Moreover, he was nominated for an Oscar and continued to prove his worth in films like A-Team and Elysium.
Elysium saw Copley play the film’s main antagonist, Agent CM Kruger. In Europa Report, Kruger once again earned the praises of critics and fans. Copley is known for his intense performances and will undoubtedly garner major fan support as the top choice to play Black Mask.
