Harley Quinn

Harley Quinn’s (Margot Robbie) story arc in No Man’s Land was part of her origin into the comics. The team of writer Paul Dini and two artists Yvel Guichet and Aaron Sowd made it so that No Man’s Land inspired the former psychiatrist to become Harley Quinn.  Birds of Prey could make it so that Harley took over the territory once held by Joker. Huntress busted him and he’s being held captive at Blacgate Penitentiary — explaining his absence.

Being a criminal, she could scenario want to take out Black Mask. Or she could have a Conscience something she didn’t have when Joker killed Jason Todd. Harley could use Cassandra as a way to make up for not saving Jason’s life — with some convincing from Huntress of course.

Black Canary

The unwarranted controversy that surrounded Jurnee Smollett-Bell’s Black Canary casting gives a much bigger spotlight. But in No Man’s Land, she wasn’t a major player — unless you count defeating Bane. Okay so that does constitute as awesome. Moreover, Dinah’s history with Birds of Prey can’t be understated. Black Canary was the first member of what we know as Birds of Prey working for Oracle. While Gotham isn’t usually her scene, it’s likely she got stuck during the earthquake.
