5. Kraven the Hunter

Strong, agile, fast, relentless and with a lot of honor. That’s Kraven the Hunter. He’s one of Spider-Man’s most iconic villains. Even the storyline Kraven’s Last Hunt is regarded as one of the most memorable Spider-Man stories ever made. So not only he has the potential to tell an amazing and compelling story, but also to prove he’s a real threat for the Web-Slinger.

His boss fight could make Taskmaster look like a complete amateur. Players would need to be the very best Spider-Man they can in order to defeat him. And that’s a challenge we’re all willing to accept for the sequel.

4. Doctor Octopus (again)

Doc Ock already had his time to shine in Marvel’s Spider-Man. And he stole the spotlight so brilliantly, we want to see more of him in the sequel. Though I recognize different villains need to take on the starting role and shake things up a little, it’s undeniable that Insomniac really did something special with the character. So even if we don’t see him as the main villain, his appearance could make things much more complicated for Peter.

Insomniac already told Otto’s story, so they wouldn’t need to spend any time explaining who he is or where does he come from. Instead, they could keep developing his relationship with Peter Parker even further. He’s a great character and one of Spidey’s greatest enemies. It would be a shame just to see him once in Insomniac’s universe.
