5. Mary tries to live in peace

As much as “Walker” may hate to admit, “Mary” is quite a persistent aspect of her personality. She is very much aware of her more cold-blooded persona and quite fearful of that side. Nothing much has been quite known about her military career and whether they came about during her adult life or before she enlisted in the armed forces only that once she was diagnosed with DID, she was given a medical discharge from the army.

Since we are not exactly certain on whether this “Mary” persona is actually the chief identity before her condition it can be theorized that this persona represents a coping mechanism during her terrible experiences of capture and torrent. She is friendlier, a bit naive and loves to draw and be in the rain. There are still a lot of things we do not quite know about Mary, like her childhood and what she been doing before serving the army. Whatever it may be, the likelihood of her return will be in the next season of Iron Fist. As there is no mention of her being in the upcoming season of Daredevil, possibly its fourth season.

Right now, Walker is hell-bent on discovering what is happening and to uncover the mystery that is within those DOJ files. Mary would like to have a peaceful life, but whatever was in those files were hidden for a reason and could likely affect Walker also. For now, there is no peace for Mary anytime soon. Ward is about to embark on a new experience with Danny, so he is not exactly in the picture, but his sister, Joy, is for all intents and purposes owes Walker a great debt. Besides that, Mary gave Walker the driver’s seat, for the time being.
