It’s no secret that My Hero Academia has had a great run since it’s inception. From the mind of Kohei Horikoshi, My Hero Academia began its run in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump since July 2014. The series was then adapted into an anime in 2016 and from there, the anime’s popularity grew.

With three seasons officially released, the anime’s first film, My Hero Academia: Two Heroes, was released. And fans adored it. But when it was announced that the next season will be released in October 2019, fans were disappointed with how long they would have to wait for new content.
However, fans don’t have to wait much longer. With the Blu-ray release of My Hero Academia: Two Heroes, fans will be treated to a special OVA that adapted the All Might Rising one-shot.
Thanks to a Twitter post, we’ve been treated to the Blu-ray trailer which also gives us a peek at the OVA.
My Hero Academia: All Might Rising follows the origin of the fan favorite – All Might. In the teaser, we see a younger All Might being pulled away from his mentor. We then see Nana Shimura, who previously inherited One For All. She points at All Might and advises him that it is his time now. All Might has been a fan favorite since the beginning of the anime so fans are eager to see more of his origin.
My Hero Academia: Two Heroes will hit home video in Japan on February 13th. The Blu-ray and DVD will be released in North America later on in 2019.
