Where does this game really do well, above similar games?

Lansdown: What makes this game special and what has become the heart of the Adventures system is the cooperative dice sharing mechanic designed by Kevin Wilson. This system puts emphasis on teamwork, a skill that the heroes will need to utilize if they want to succeed in their missions.

Walsh: The game really makes you feel part of the team, making choices that may not always be best for you but for the greater good. This isn’t just another typical licensed game.

*Each hero has 3 dice, which when rolled, dictate the actions that hero can do during their turn. Each hero player shares the far left and far right dice with their neighboring hero players on those sides, allowing each hero to have a total of 5 icons to spend when choosing their actions each round.

What has been your most enjoyable part of this project?

Lansdown: Mission creation is by far my favorite aspect of designing the game. Being able to work with the gold standard of TMNT stories and finding ways to bring them to life by crafting new mechanics, dynamic maps, and unique challenges for the heroes to face is endlessly satisfying. The best part of the process is getting to playtest them, and finding ways to make the game more fun and challenging.

Walsh: Character creation for me, I love diving into each character and really trying to bring out the best and worst. The villain upgrade box is something I especially enjoyed creating.
