MCU: 5 actresses who could play Ironheart

5. Shahadi Wright Joseph

If Kevin Feige wants a fresh face actress, Hairspray Live actress, Shahadi Wright Joseph makes sense. Joseph may not have the resume as some of the other actresses on the lift, but she’s just as talented.

The 14-year old actress will play young Nala in the Lion King. However, her most notable role to date was in the 2019 psychological thriller, Us. Joseph starred alongside Lupita Nyong’o and Winston Duke as the eldest daughter of the Wilson family.

Despite her immensely talented cast, she proved that she’s a star in her own right. Like her co-stars, Joseph was asked to play duo roles.

While her evil counterpart didn’t have any dialogue, she was convincingly terrifying. On the other hand, as Zora, Joseph was heroic.

There were more than a few scenes that tossed Joseph in the spotlight and she ran with it, literally. She’ll do the same as Riri Williams in the MCU.

Casting an actress with youth like Joseph’s gives fans a chance to grow with the character. Joseph’s age may get questioned but there’s no denying Joseph’s talent.

Riri is a young enthusiastic hero with a chip on her shoulder. Put her in the role as Riri and she’ll absolutely nail the role.
