SDCC 2019: The Walking Dead season 10 trailer has arrived
Michonne is with who? No, we aren’t talking that lip lock. TWD season 10 is packed with action, comedy, and new romances as The Militia literally crosses the line declaring war against The Whispers.
The Walking Dead has zombies but it’s anything but a drag. Based on the 10th season’s trailer it’s time for war… again. Alpha, the leader of the Whispers, forced the hands of The Militia.
Last season ended with “The Storm”, the aftermath that followed “The Calm Before”, which claimed the lives of Enid, Tara, Henry, among others. Now it’s time for war.
Season 10 doesn’t seem as though it’s about to shy away from the bloody arc of the comics, The Whisper War. As The Militia unite to take down The Whispers, we see some major relationship shakeups. Check it out below:
Negan’s redemption arc continues after saving Judith from impending death. With a war on the horizon, and the Hilltop needing an extra hand – pun intended – Gabriel introduces Negan as the jelly to Aaron’s peanut butter. By the way, Aaron’s rocking a badass morning star as a hand which Negan comically acknowledges.
Speaking of great pairings, looks like Daryl and Carol plan on taking a trip. Hopefully not before she follows through with her fighting words about Alpha, “b**ch has to die.”

Count Rosita in as she’s back to butt-kicking form after dropping little Siddiq. While she’s involved in a complex love triangle, Michonne’s apparently yearning for her partner in crime.
Of course, fans of The Walking Dead comics know who that is, Ezekiel. After Carol dumped him last season, it was expected, to some degree. So that’s not the biggest surprise.
The shocker to end all shockers was the relationship shown at the end of the trailer. A jaw-dropper that no one saw coming – not even the all-seeing Negan: the return of his true love Lucile in the hands of Michonne.
