Vision is really dead, yet there’s still this WandaVision series on Disney Plus. What if this is actually an adaptation House of M?

WandaVision, the title in it of itself is revealing. Vision is dead-dead, and isn’t coming back unless he does, The only way to make that happen is Wanda losing control of powers like in the comics. Fans of Marvel Comics remember the fallout from the 2004 Avengers Disassembled event that changed the complexity of Marvel forever, creating a world known as House of M.

Accomplishing what House of M accomplished, would take more than a film trilogy. It can work as a miniseries on Disney Plus — WandaVision. In the pages of Marvel Comics, there are multiple moving parts, and Wanda isn’t the focus.

However, this gives the MCU an opportunity to introduce mutants into its universe. The House of M theory isn’t news, but WandaVision makes it possible.

What is House of M?

After losing everything, Scarlet Witch does what any of us with that type of power would do — create an alternate reality where that pain doesn’t exist. Of course, this world defies everything that proceeded it. Unfortunately, what happens wasn’t exactly a choice. Instead, it was an unintentional abuse of exploitation of power.

The events of Avengers Dissembled saw the deaths of Hawkeye and Scott Lang (Ant-Man). Magneto discovered that his distraught daughter, Wanda, caused tragic events before anyone else does. Magneto takes Wanda to Professor X, hoping Charles can help his grieving daughter control her powers — he can’t.

The broken Wanda dozed off one last time, creating a reality where she never lost Vision. Not only that, but she and Vision live happily ever after with children who previously never existed. By her side, is her father and brother, Quicksilver, in what she envisions as paradise.

Unable to help the resistant Wanda, Professor X calls in the cavalry — team consisting of the X-Men and Avengers must help deal with this growing threat. A distraught Quicksilver argues with Magneto over his lack of concern that the assembled team would kill Wanda. Unbeknownst to anyone, the world around them would change.
