She-Hulk TV series is officially confirmed for Disney Plus
At the D23 Expo, after much speculation, an original series featuring She-Hulk has officially been announced to debut on Disney Plus.
For some time, there has been much speculation that a project centered on the exquisite, sassy and female version of the Hulk has been in development. There had been rumblings of a live-action She-Hulk television series being in development at Netflix and Marvel Television as far back as 2016, around the time of the hiatus between Jessica Jones’ first and second seasons.
Now, at the 2019 Marvel panel for the D23 Expo, an original She-Hulk series has been announced, and it will air on the Disney Plus streaming service:
This news came with the announcements that Moon Knight and Ms. Marvel shows are also in the works and headed to the Disney Plus streaming service.

A rumor that was reported by We Got This Covered about a potential Hulk/She-Hulk team-up series was once making the rounds, but nothing else had been confirmed or said at that point. As of right now, there is no one reportedly attached to play the title role, but there are plenty of potential actresses who can bring the superhero lawyer to life. There have also been no announcements regarding writers or a showrunner.
As the series starring Jennifer Walters (a.k.a She-Hulk), the cousin of Dr. Robert Bruce Banner/the Hulk is without a doubt set within the larger MCU, you could possibly bet Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk could possibly make a cameo (maybe as “Professor” Hulk). After all, Dr. Banner is connected to her origin, as he saved her life through a blood transfusion, which ultimately gave Walters her gamma-infused look and abilities.
Legal red tape aside as to how Disney/Marvel managed to pull this off, the show is sure to take place sometime after the events of Avengers: Endgame. Unlike The Incredible Hulk, the tone is sure to go in a lighter direction. Expect more announcements to arrive in the coming months.
