Marvel Studios is apparently planning to bring the Silver Surfer into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The acquisition of 21st Century Fox brought an array of assets to Disney, including many Marvel properties. The studio hasn’t given too many details on their plans, but a new report suggests they’re working on a project for a certain cosmic character.

Geeks Worldwide reports that Marvel Studios is actively developing a Silver Surfer solo film. The trade didn’t provide too many specifics but did mention that the studio is looking to expand the cosmic side of the franchise.

This isn’t the first time a Silver Surfer movie has been mentioned as a possibility for the MCU’s future. Last year, director Adam McKay, who co-wrote 2015’s Ant-Man, expressed interest in directing a Silver Surfer film for Marvel. And studio head Kevin Feige seemed to like the idea of McKay helming the possible project.

Fantastic Four No. 48 originally introduced the Silver Surfer as the herald of Galactus, the Devourer of Worlds. Originally born with the name Norrin Radd, he agreed to serve Galactus on the condition that the cosmic overlord spare his homeworld of Zenn-La. During his time with Galactus, he oversaw the destruction of various planets, until he arrived on Earth and encountered the Fantastic Four. Moved by their efforts to save their home, the Surfer rebelled against his master and helped the heroes save the planet. Galactus exiled him to Earth as a result of his actions, leaving the Surfer to have his own adventures.

As a fan-favorite character, the Surfer has appeared in various animated series. He also made his live-action film debut in Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, in which he was played by Doug Jones and voiced by Laurence Fishburne.
