6. Tati Gabrielle

While she’s not a complete unknown, she’s arguably the least known actress on this list. Gabrielle’s a low-key name that would make a movie feel fresh. On The CW’s dystopian, sci-fi drama The 100, Gabrielle plays the keeper of a sacred flame.

She’s commanding, strong, yet shows vulnerability as Gaia. Likewise, as Constance in Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina; she’s proven she can play strong characters.

When trying to look for an actress that can pull off a hero like Batgirl, this is an attribute that definitely helps. It would be interesting to see her tap into a darker side of the character, especially after she is struck by tragedy. Barbara, of course, is paralyzed by the Joker in the acclaimed storyline The Killing Joke. The transition from Batgirl to Oracle will force Gabrielle to flex her acting muscles.

This 23-year old actress is ready for the big screen. A starring role in a comic book movie in which she plays an iconic superheroine could take her career to new heights. If given the spotlight, Gabrielle would nail the role of Barbara Gordon. But would WB and director Christina Hodson take a chance on someone without the name? Let’s hope so.
