4. Jessica Cruz

One, or multiple Green Lanterns will make their DCEU debuts at some point. There are more than a few ways to introduce them, just ask Screen Rant. But if Warner Bros wanted to be bold, they could use Jessica Cruz.

No, I’m not saying to bypass Hal Jordan, John Stewart, or any of the other Lanterns before her. But Jessica’s story could act as a catalyst for a team-up film starring another Lantern or even a miniseries.

Jessica Cruz’s story is one of survival, a thriller that could turn into a super-powered revenge flick based on her comic book origins. Her story began when she and a group of friends went on a camping trip.

Unbeknownst to them, they’d run into a couple of monsters burying a body. Not wanting to leave witnesses, the mobsters murdered Jessica’s friends — she barely escaped the ordeal.

The story follows a young woman living in a state of anxiety as a survivalist. That is until the ring Earth-3’s first Lantern, Volthoom, chose Jessica after the death of its wielder, Power Ring. Jessica was overtaken by the ring’s great power, becoming the villain of her own story in the process.

In a movie or series, the ring could help Jessica not only kill the men that murdered her friends but take down the entire mob. Eventually, the story could play out as it does in the comics where Jessica gains control of the ring’s power. Of course, she’d eventually become a member of the Green Lantern Corps and go on to team with Simon Baz.
