Deadpool 3: 11 Characters that should debut or return
By Mark Lynch
9. Domino
You’re looking at the MVP of Deadpool 2. Yes, Wade Wilson was the best part of the movie, but Domino was right there with him. Her wise cracks and quick comebacks were right on par with Wade’s. She fit right in. Her action sequences were better than we could have hoped as well. Who knew that luck powers would work well on a movie screen?
Just like Yukio, we only received a small sample of Domino. Yes, that wasn’t close to Domino’s potential. She has more skills and luck power than we saw. Zazie Beetz was better than we could have hoped for. Her action movie debut was yet another example of how good of an actor she is. One more movie with Deadpool (or X-Force) and she should move on to a solo project.
8. Cable
Cable and Domino have been looped in together for a reason. In the comic books, they’ve been teammates, friends, enemies, and lovers. Deadpool 2 left things open. Cable is stuck in the past without his wife and daughter (Hope Summers). Does this mean that his life in the future is over? Even if it isn’t, Cable and Domino Should have something of a connection. This doesn’t necessarily mean they have to be in a romantic relationship, but they should be close.
Domino is one of the few people that truly understands Cable inside and out – this shouldn’t change in the movies. They both understand tragedy and Cable will need someone to rely on in a time he’s stuck in. He certainly can’t rely on Wade to not annoy him.
