Catwoman’s nine lives have brought her 80 years under the DC umbrella. In celebration, she will be getting her own 100-page Super Spectacular anniversary special.

On April 15, DC fans can expect a special release from DC Comics in honor of Catwoman‘s debut in Batman No.1 by Bill Finger and Bob Kane. Her commemorative book–entitled Catwoman 80th Anniversary 100-Page Super Spectacular No.1–aims to celebrate Selina Kyle’s 80 years evading the Caped Crusader and nabbing whatever has captured her fancy over the decades including his heart.

CBR reports that fans who have been with Selina since the beginning–and those who have joined her legion of admirers since her creation–can look forward to a range of comics creators paying tribute to the master thief. Most notable are Ed Brubaker and Cameron Stewart.

Catwoman’s anniversary special will be Brubaker’s first major work for DC in 14 years. Brubaker, Stewart, and the late Darwyn Cooke worked on a Catwoman run that re-imagined Ms. Kyle for a new generation in the early 2000s. This time the two are partnering on “The Art of Picking a Lock,” a 12-page story that picks up near the end of their original run.

Stewart took to Twitter to provide fans with a sneak peek of the special on January 15th:

According to DC, the anniversary book will feature:

More from Comics

"….a cover by series writer/artist Joëlle Jones…stories by Ed Brubaker, Cameron Stewart, Paul Dini, Ann Nocenti, Adam Hughes, Tom King, Mikel Janín, Mindy Newell, Will Pfeifer, and Emanuela Lupacchino, as well as pinups by Steve Rude, Tula Lotay, Jim Balent, and others. With additional stories by Mindy Newell (Catwoman, Wonder Woman, Lois Lane); the bestselling Batman team of writer Tom King and artist Mikel Janín; Ann Nocenti (Catwoman, Katana); and many more…"

Paul Dini’s contribution will include the debut of a new character in a story that focuses on a taxidermist looking to add Catwoman to their collection, so Selina will definitely need what’s left of her nine lives in that venture.

For fans interested in variant covers paying homage to each of Catwoman’s eight decades with DC, the following artists will be providing their work:

Adam Hughes – 1940s
Travis Charest – 1950s
J. Scott Campbell – 1960s
Frank Cho – 1970s
Stanley “Artgerm” Lau – 1980s
Gabriele Dell’otto – 1990s
Jim Lee and Scott Williams – 2000s
Jeehyung Lee – 2010s

DC asks that fans inquire with their local comic retailers for information on the variant covers.

Catwoman 80th Anniversary 100-Page Spectacular No.1 goes on sale April 15. The special will be sold at local comics retailers and digital retailers for $9.99.
