Paul Bettany promises that fans are going to get their first taste of WandaVision very soon.

Fans won’t have to wait too much longer to learn more about WandaVision, according to Paul Bettany. The Marvel star chatted with IMDb at Sundance Film Festival, where he described the show as “f**king bonkers.” In addition to praising the direction, he confirmed that a new look at the series will arrive shortly:

"“It’s so out there and nuts, the choices they are making. Fans will not have to wait that much longer, well they’ve moved it up a little bit, but also they’ll get much more of an insight very, very soon.”"

The brainchild of Marvel Studios’ Kevin Feige, WandaVision has been described as a hybrid of 1950s sitcoms and MCU spectacles and is set after the events of Avengers: Endgame. Bettany reprises his role as Vision, and Elizabeth Olsen returns as Wanda Maximoff, who will become the Scalet Witch. The pair are joined by Marvel veterans Kat Dennings and Randall Park along with newcomers Teyonah Parris and Kathryn Hahn. Captain Marvel and Black Widow scribe Jac Schaeffer serves as showrunner, writer and director, while Game of Thrones’ Matt Shakman is directing.

Reports of a TV series centered on Scarlet Witch and Vision first surfaced in 2018 before Marvel Studios officially announced WandaVision at San Diego Comic-Con last summer. While it was initially slated to arrive in 2021, Disney Plus released a 2020 promotional video, which revealed that the release date had been moved up.

When we last saw Wanda Maximoff in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, she returned to life in Endgame and aided the Avengers in defeating Thanos once and for all. She was also mourning the loss of Vision, who was killed by the Mad Titan in Infinity War. The exact circumstances regarding the android’s return in the limited series are still up for speculation.

Also up for speculation is the show’s connection to 2021’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, in which Olsen is expected to once again reprise her role.
