Marvel TV: Ranking all 13 Marvel Television shows from worst to best

3. Legion
The idea of using unknown characters seems to be a trend here. Legion is a character that even most comic book fans don’t care about. So what would make FX think that this would work as a show? Jokes on everyone who doubted the idea. Legion being mysterious and unknown was intriguing and immediately hooked viewers.
Let’s start with the acting. Dan Stevens as David Haller (Legion) was marvelous. Playing someone with mental illness isn’t an easy feat. Nonetheless, Stevens pulled it off. Then you have Aubrey Plaza, an actor known for being comedic more than anything else. The range she showed here proved that she could be more than we’ve seen. Together, they put on performances that we weren’t prepared for. Their chemistry was just phenomenal.
Legion was also trippy. There were times when you didn’t know exactly what was going on. Was this an alternate reality or something else different? It may sound confusing, but it flowed. With everything going.
It’s an easy binge and a trippy ride. Admittedly, this wasn’t a show I enjoyed. However, it’s easy to look at Legion from different eyes and understand why people enjoyed it. It’s admirable that they only planned for three seasons. They got in, told the story they wanted to tell, and got out. No need to prolong the story once it’s been told.
