How should he be introduced?

Although Galactus would undoubtedly be a threat to the entire MCU – which, of course, includes existing characters like the Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy and Masters of the Mystic Arts – his introduction shouldn’t come in a movie starring existing MCU characters.

We’ve already touched upon the fact that he appeared (albeit as a cloud) in Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, which obviously means his movie rights were owned by Fox prior to the company being bought out by Disney.

Since Disney made the purchase, Galactus is now fair game for Marvel Studios, but it makes sense that his introduction should come in a movie starring characters formerly owned by Fox.

Notably, those characters are, of course, the Fantastic Four and the X-Men – both of whom have characters who could be the first to detect the coming of Galactus.

The Fantastic Four have Reed Richards, who has lots of technology that could alert the world to his presence, and the X-Men have the likes of Professor X and Jean Grey, both of whom have psionic powers that could enable them to sense his impending arrival – and either group could then inform the other heroes of the MCU.

It would be a great way to immediately integrate them all into a major MCU arc.

Alternatively, Richards and Professor X could be revealed to be part of the Illuminati – along with the likes of T’Challa and Bruce Banner – and they could collectively discover Galactus’ plan.

Essentially, Galactus’ introduction should definitely involve the heroes formerly under Fox’s banner.
