3. Jughead’s Memorial Service

A heartbreaking moment for everyone involved (or at least it was supposed to be), Jughead’s memorial/last-minute-funeral was supposed to be an emotional farewell to their fallen friend – and for a short while it was – but things descended into chaos when Stonewall Prep’s Donna Sweet and Brett Weston Wallis showed up.

Convinced that Jughead wasn’t really dead, Donna told Bret to open the casket and have a look inside. Though the Stonewall Prep student got within touching distance of the lid, Archie and Sweet Pea forced him back, while Betty showed Donna the door.

2. Betty Kisses Archie

In her apparent grief, Betty made perhaps the most shocking moment of her entire high school career when she randomly turned to Archie because she “wanted to feel good” for a few moments. While that could have meant anything, it was pretty clear what she was implying and, as a result, she kissed Archie.

A shocking moment, Archie didn’t back down and reciprocated. The only problem was the Cheryl took the photos and sent them to the whole school, incriminating her friends which ultimately led Veronica to shame them both in public, apparently turning her back on both Betty and Archie.
