3. Joker

Voiced by: Alan Tudyk

No matter the setting, the Joker is going to be judged harsher than any other character. He’s one of the two most beloved villains in any genre and, in many ways, is considered the ultimate villain: Charismatic, smart, cunning, ruthless, and seemingly unkillable. It also doesn’t help that anyone who voices him will be compared to the incomparable Mark Hamill.

Good thing Alan Tudyk voiced him here. If anyone could capture the essence of the Clown Prince of Crime, it was him. And he didn’t disappoint. He sounded close to Hamill’s voice then added a little bit of gruffness. The slight grit in his voice made a huge difference and gave him a more original sound while keeping Joker sounding cartoonish.

He had to be the first antagonist Harley went up against – especially for the fans of Harley and Joker’s relationship. People love to say that they’re relationship goals. They’re far from it. Harley Quinn highlights the kind of manipulative, physically and verbally abusive partner he is. No one should strive to be the kind of couple they are. He didn’t want Harley to succeed. He wanted her around for selfish reasons. He wanted to keep her under his thumb. When he found out how amazing she became, he got jealous.

Joker sabotaged her, stole her ideas, and tried to kill Poison Ivy. In short, Joker is just the worst.
