Black Widow’s release date may have been pushed back but there are a few MCU movies to watch in the meantime while you wait for its release.

In the pages of Marvel Comics, many women used the codename, Black Widow, but none would ever come close to having the fanfare of the original, Natasha Romanov. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Scarlett Johansson brought the comic book character to life way back in 2010’s Iron Man 2.

After a decade since she made her big-screen debut, Kevin Feige finally gave Johansson her long-overdue Black Widow solo movie. Expectations were undoubtedly riding high for the action-packed Cate Shortland-directed Black Widow which was set to be a game-changer for the MCU as it’s first spy thrill-ride.

Black Widow was scheduled to be released on May 1, 2020. However, due to the Coronavirus outbreak, it’s not happening.

"“Disney is pushing the release of Marvel stand-alone Black Widow amid growing concerns around the coronavirus. The movie, which was set to hit theaters in North America on May 1, has been pushed to an undetermined future date.”"

With the release date being pushed back, fans must wait a little longer than they expected before they see the First Lady of the MCU make her solo debut. But don’t worry because there are a plethora of films to satisfy your MCU hunger on Disney Plus – films in which you can see Black Widow in action (such as AvengersAge of Ultron).

However,  these are the five films you must watch for reasons beyond just seeing Black Widow.
