3. Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox

While not a direct Wonder Woman film, you get a chance to see her in a different light… or darkness. DC’s animated film Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox condenses the wildly popular, game changing comic book arc, Flashpoint into 1 hour and 20 minutes. The film begins with the Justice League successfully defeating the Rogues who were hired by the Flash’s arch-nemesis, Professor Zoom. However, even in defeat, Zoom got into Barry’s head, by basking in the murder of his mother.

Zoom murdering his mother haunted Barry; so, with grief at his back, he sprinted through time to successfully stop Reverse-Flash from committing the unspeakable act. It worked and Barry’s journey to an alternate time gave him a life with his parents as his mother lived and his father was never wrongly accused of a murder that didn’t happen. However, that wasn’t the only change, as the time paradox created a world without Superman.

More from DCEU

Barry didn’t have his powers and the Justice League didn’t exist; two of its strongest heroes were at war. Aquaman and his Atlanteans conquered Europe; yeah, imagine a partially sunken continent. Wonder Woman successfully conquered the United Kingdom and she wasn’t going down without a fight.

Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox is one of the best animated superhero films available for your viewing pleasure; you’ll thank me later.
