1. Shazam! 2

When the DCEU first broke the news that Shazam was coming to the big-screen, rumors swirled about a possible Clark Kent and/or Superman cameo. Fans of DC’s animated films had the perfect scene in mind – one that would have paid tribute to Superman/Shazam!: The Return of Black Adam. It’s the scene where young Billy is sitting with Clark at a diner, so heartwarming. Spoiler alert: That didn’t happen in the critically-acclaimed blockbuster.

However, like the great director he is, David F. Sandberg didn’t let us down. Unfortunately, he didn’t have an opportunity to use Cavill the first time around. Now that he’s back on board, why not give us what we want, what he wants — Henry Cavill as Superman? We don’t even need to see Cavill wearing the suit, we can save that for another movie.

Billy is still learning to be a hero, so why not have Clark there to give him some advice. He can relate to being a kid with powers, albeit he rarely used them. Clark can also relate to growing up an orphan. Shazam 2 could give fans a chance to see Clark Kent, the reporter, the mentor, and the recruiter. After all, he’s one of the few people who knows that Shazam is actually a kid.
