What happens to the rest of the gang?

Yes, the name of the show is Harley Quinn, but there is a whole crew of supporting characters that also helped make it so magical.

Of course we love King Shark, Clayface, and Sy Borgman. They’re part of the reason we love this. However, they don’t need to be around Harley and Ivy to have an impact on the show – Season 2 shows this on multiple occasions.

Let’s use the Bachelorette episode as an example. Harley and Ivy were off having an adventure elsewhere while King Shark went on one of his own. Both storylines were equally as entertaining without ever taking away from each other. We could just as easily get more of these split-narratives in future seasons.

Also, as we’ve seen, Harley doesn’t need to be in the episode at all. In the episode Batman’s Back, Man none of Harley’s gang was featured and the episode still managed to showcase all of the things we loved about the show (even without its star). This could always happen again.

We’ve explored some of King Shark’s past. There’s no reason we can’t see more of that and how his relationship with Tabitha is going to work. There’s also Clayface. We don’t know much about him. Who wouldn’t want to see him in his own adventure?

Harley and Ivy love their team. They’re family. There’s no reason for them to abandon them especially with everything they’ve been through together. After Harley and Ivy finish their time together, they’ll come back. Who knows, Maybe they move out of Gotham and try Star City where Green Arrow is. There could then meet Green Arrow and possibly Black Canary – a relationship that Harley had in Injustice.
