4. Marie Avgeropoulos

Marie Avgeropoulos has made quite the name for herself over the past seven years thanks to her prominent role on The CW series The 100. With one of the best character arcs on all of television, she plays the role of Octavia Blake – a teen who’s punished for the transgressions of her parents. She lived in a hole for years until she was discovered and placed on death row. As punishment, she, along with 99 other inmates awaiting death, is sent to earth.

Fans of the series watched Avgeropoulos put on an excellent performance. She transitions from a bit of a wide-eyed wild teen damsel in distress to someone else entirely, becoming one of the most empowering on the show.

The 34-year old actress also happens to look the part of Zatanna as if she were ripped straight from the comics. She could play a mature version of the Justice League Dark member. Imagine her playing a darker, gritty, version of Zatanna not unlike Grant Morrison’s Seven Deadly Soldiers: Zatanna. Avgeropoulos’ version could potentially follow an internally lost magician whose seeing it impact her magic, especially after losing both her father and love, John Constantine.

It doesn’t hurt that the actress dipped her toe in the world of DC before, voicing Silver Swan in Wonder Woman: Bloodlines.  She’s also set to star alongside Nicholas Cage in the fight film, Jiu Jitsu.

As someone whose might be lesser-known to film fans, Warner Bros could opt to give Marie Avgeropoulos her big big-screen break, and they certainly wouldn’t regret it.
