2. Eiza Gonzalez

There was no way Eiza Gonzalez wasn’t going to make this list. Zatanna is a popular hero, Eiza Gonzalez is a popular actress. Many fans wanted to see Gonzalez play Catwoman, but that understandably faded when Zoe Kravitz got that call — deservedly so. However, the former From Dusk Till Dawn star could easily star as the magic-wielding Zatanna Zatara.

At this point, fans know the name of Eiza Gonzalez. She caught eyes as a scene-stealing criminal in Baby Driver. She did the same thing in her brief appearance as Madam M in Hobbs and Shaw. She even got a taste of the superhero genre co-starring as the captivating KT in Bloodshot.

The 30-year-old actress could play a seasoned version of Zatanna. Her story could pick up years after her father’s kidnapping. He’s long since retired from his days as a hero. We could see her play a version of Zatanna where she’s not the superhero her father was. Instead, she could decide that the hero game is not something she’s interested in. That is until her father sacrifices himself for the greater good.

Gonzalez is a versatile actress and more than capable of playing any version of Zatanna. And, Boss Logic also happens to think she’d kill it.
