It will probably be its own unique interpretation, but we should still see some version of Flashpoint in The Flash. Barry is going back to save his parents in what will likely be an emotional journey. What becomes of the new world he creates? That’s the point of Flashpoint: Screwing with time has major repercussions.

We may not dive deep into the comic book arc, but it would be cool to see Viola Davis’ Amanda Waller as President of the United States as one major ramification.

Fans of Flashpoint remember she was POTUS in the alternate timeline. In the comics, she also worked as Secretary of State under Lex Luthor. Maybe things could work the other way around for the DCEU. Why not have her cameo at some point via news feed, or article clip?

Having Davis in any film is a gift. Having her as the Nick Fury of sorts across the DCEU is a gem. But imagine a DCEU where Davis runs the United States. Picture a film that sees her journey to becoming the President on HBO Max. Or her being one of the reasons the Injustice League is formed.

The possibilities are endless. And it is all possible with just a cameo.
