Superpowers

Superpowers are a big part of any Marvel project. They have to make sense to the audience and they also have to look cool while being at least somewhat believable.

Domino is a perfect example of this. She has luck powers – something that doesn’t seem like it would translate well into a movie. So much that Deadpool made a joke about it as she was using them in Deadpool 2.

We’ve seen Spider-Gwen use her powers in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse – so we know they’d work well on the big screen. However, Jessica Drew is all that and more.

All of Jessica Drew’s powers are really fun. Fans would definitely love seeing everything she does. Jessica does have the spider strength (but she’s not as strong as Spider-Man or Spider-Gwen) as well as impressive agility and fast reflexes. She also has a venom blast like Miles. Unlike Miles, Jessica can shoot hers outward with better control and accuracy – something that will look great on screen.

Moreover, she can exude a pheromone that makes people attracted to her, scared, and have other feelings too. It’s even worked on the Hulk. She proved how powerful she was by having the Hulk make her a sandwich. Also, she can glide. Not fly, glide. On that note, she has to constantly remind people that she can’t fly – something that could be a running joke in a Jessica Drew Project.

If we do see Spider-Woman on the screen, her powers must come to life in a believable and fun way.
