The Batman: Zoë Kravitz returns to the UK just as production is shut down again
Zoë Kravitz reportedly returned to England to resume playing Selina Kyle aka Catwoman in The Batman just before production was once again suspended.
According to the Daily Mail, Zoë Kravitz has returned to the UK to resume filming for The Batman. She was spotted with her husband, Karl Glusman, and their dog Scout, as they caught a flight to England from the JFK Airport on Monday, August 31.
Kravitz portrays Selina Kyle aka Catwoman in the Matt Reeves-helmed motion picture and, after months of lockdown and quarantines – during which the first trailer for The Batman was released DC FanDome – the ball was beginning to roll once more as the cast and crew reunited and production slowly resumed.
However, things were once again put on hold when it was subsequently revealed by Vanity Fair that the film’s leading star, Robert Pattinson, has tested positive for COVID-19. As a result, production at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden in Watford, England has once again had to shut down, while the star quarantines and recovers.

After shutting down because of the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, it seemed like things were slowly beginning to move forward for The Batman. A few months back, the film (among others) was granted the permission from the UK government to resume production in accordance with the new safety guidelines put in place. A month later, it was revealed that Reeves made some preparations to continue shooting with changes being made – including indoor-built sets.
Centering on a young, but established caped–and–cowl crusader in the second year of his crime-fighting career, The Batman stars Robert Pattinson, Zoë Kravitz, Andy Serkis, Colin Farrell, Paul Dano, Jeffrey Wright, John Turturro, Jayme Lawson and Peter Sarsgaard.
Matt Reeves is directing from a screenplay he has co-written with Peter Craig. Reeves and Dylan Clark are producing for Pearl Street Films in association with 6th and Idaho Productions. Warner Bros. Pictures will distribute.
