Nuclear Man (Mahkizmo)

Admittedly, this writer didn’t know much about the Nuclear Man. It wasn’t until Captain Marvel’s run by Kelly Thompson that I found out who he was. For the love of Odin is this guy easy to hate.

First, he’s one of the most misogynistic villains ever. Considering the pool of villains who hate women, that says a lot. He looks at women as a means to have kids and as nothing more than eye candy (yuck). Second, he was willing to kill his son to further his goals. Nonetheless, he’s an incredibly powerful antagonist – someone who would give Captain Marvel a real fight on the big screen. If this were to happen, people will stand and cheer when she eventually wins.

We haven’t seen Jensen Ackles play someone this awful. With Supernatural in the rear-view mirror, he’s undoubtedly going to want to further his career as an actor by playing roles that he’s not used to playing. Ackles has played a bully of sorts on a few occasions. It usually ends with him realizing that he’s being a jerk. Now, he’ll have to keep up the façade throughout the project.

When Dean Winchester was a demon, Ackles portrayed him as a carefree and cold-hearted individual. Later, he played the arrogant angel Michael. Both times he was flawless. It leads this writer to believe that becoming the Nuclear Man wouldn’t be a stretch.
