DC’s Stargirl season 2 cast: Who’s in for Season 2?

Jim Gaffigan: Heading into season 2 of DC’s Stargirl, we are getting the answers we have been waiting for and that includes more information regarding the Pink Pen. And with these answers comes Jim Gaffigan taking on the role of Thunderbolt. While this will be a CGI character, Gaffigan will be lending his comedic chops and voice to bring the character to life. Considering Thunderbolt grants wishes that tend to cause more problems than expected, even if his heart is in the right place, we expect plenty of new hijinks heading into Season 2.

Nick Tarabay: From The Expanse to DC’s Stargirl, Nick Tarabay will be bringing the villain known as Eclipso to life. And considering how terrifying Eclipso can be in the comics, it should be interesting to see how Tarabay brings the character to life heading into the new season. And since Eclipso is set to be the main antagonist this time, the character will be doing a lot of terrorizing as a series regular.

Jonathan Cake: Another villain joining the mix of DC’s Stargirl season 2 is The Shade, who will be played by Jonathan Cake. While the character is said to be one of the most powerful of all the villains and heroes, there is no real motivation to go along with his destruction, making him even more dangerous. While Cake will be joining the mix this season, he will be a recurring character, so we won’t see nearly as much of him as we might hope.

Ysa Penarejo: And yet another addition to DC’s Stargirl is Ysa Penarejo. However, we really don’t know much about her role just yet. At this point, she is simply “an undisclosed DC character” who will recur during season 2.

When it comes to season 2 of Stargirl, we can expect to see more of Brec Bassinger (our leading lady of course), Yvette Monreal, Luke Wilson, Amy Smart, Meg DeLacy, Cameron Gellman, and even Joel McHale (who popped back up at the end of the season after being presumed dead).
