Euphoria star Zendaya has been very coy about the live-action Spider-verse rumors concerning Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield appearing in Spider-Man 3.

With Marvel’s Spider-Man 3 currently filming in Atlanta, Georgia, there have been plenty of rumors in regards to who may or may not make an appearance.

The recent castings of Jamie Foxx and Benedict Cumberbatch has reignited rumors of a potential live-action Spider-Verse, with fans hoping that both Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, as their previous incarnations of Peter Parker aka Spider-Man, would make an appearance in the film (alongside current Spider-Man star Tom Holland).

One of the aforementioned cast members currently in Atlanta is the actress/singer Zendaya who plays Michelle “MJ” Jones in the Marvel Cinematic Universe‘s Spider-Man films, and she has now addressed some of those rumors.

Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live! (H/T: Comicbook.com), she was asked by Kimmel himself about the rumors regarding the returns of the former Spider-Man actors. She confirmed that everything “is very secretive” and that she could “neither confirm nor deny” whether or not the film is currently titled Spider-Man 3 because of the presence of three Spider-Men.

Kimmel jokingly tried again to get answers by asking if her “bubble Thanksgiving” – which the cast and crew of Spider-Man 3 were able to enjoy under a cautious but festive manner during the holidays – was “with Spider-Men.” She responded:

"“Yeah – I can’t say that. You almost… that was good. That was good.”"

The show host and comedian continued to invesitgate further, but the Emmy-winner wasn’t sharing any secrets.

As of now, what can be taken from this is the fact that these rumors are not refuted but have yet to be confirmed. Though it does not mean it is not true, until further verified it will simply remained classed as just that: A rumor.
