WandaVision: 5 burning questions for Episode 3

1. Who is trying to contact Wanda?

Throughout WandaVision‘s first two episodes, Wanda and Vision’s highly entertaining sitcom-like life was interrupted by a few harrowing moments of reality. What that means yet we do not know, but we do know that somebody – or something – was clearly trying to make contact with Wanda.

Are SWORD the ones attempting to reach out to her or is it a major threat? From the voice on the radio to the man in the beekeeper suit, the writers made a clear effort to highlight the fact that Wanda was struggling to maintain her cheery disposition whenever something unusual like these situations occurred. Understandable, of course, but the fact that our Scarlet Witch was willing to rewind time to avoid dealing with it does suggest that she’s repressing something.

Could this also have something to do with the theory that Westview isn’t a real place and that it might be, in fact, a creation from Wanda’s mind? Is this why somebody is trying to break through and contact her? And, with WandaVision Episode 3 on the horizon, one does wonder if they’ll be able to do it.
