2. What does Agatha Harkness want?

The question we’ve all needed answers to has finally been answered. And the answer was the one we were expecting. But even then, it’s left us with so many more questions.

Agnes revealed her true identity to Wanda, confirming that she was indeed the witch known as Agatha Harkness. A legendary Marvel Comics character who, in the comics, existed during the time of the Salem Witch Trials, she has interacted with the Scarlet Witch in a number of stories.

If Agatha is the one responsible for the Westview anomaly, she’s clearly very powerful – especially as she seemingly pulled the wool over Wanda’s eyes. But we still don’t understand why she did it.

Does she want to be the dominant sorceress that Wanda is? Is she planning something with Mephisto? Or is something else going on entirely? With the pair undoubtedly on a collision course: Who really is the baddest witch in town?

1. Who is Pietro?

“That man is not your uncle,” Wanda claimed as she warned Billy and Tommy to stay away from Pietro – the very same Pietro that they went trick-or-treating with in the episode prior.

Yes, he may sport a new face (albeit a very recognizable one) but who is the silver-haired speedster if not Wanda’s brother – who perished in Sokovia at the hands of Ultron in Avengers: Age of Ultron? The answer to that question is, of course, a complicated one.

Episode 7 revealed that Agatha was indeed behind Pietro’s arrival at the Vision residence, suggesting that he’s evil. But what if he was involuntarily summoned there – much like the people of Westview are involuntarily playing a role in the sitcom. With that in mind – and all this talk of the multiverse in the future – could this actually be Peter Maximoff from the X-Men film series.

The casting of Evan Peters would make a lot of sense if that were the case and it would give the impending arrival of the multiverse that much more gravity. It would also be a lot more interesting than having him predictably be the bad guy, right? Then again, maybe he is the Lord of Hell himself, Mephisto.

Either way, keep an eye on Pietro moving forward.
