Who is the best character from Thor?

Marvel character: Loki

While Thor wasn’t a good movie, the pieces were fantastic. Chris Hemsworth did a fantastic job portraying arrogant godly Thor, the humbled Odinson, and the hero in the end. Anthony Hopkins as Odin was flawless casting. Jamie Alexander was a welcomed surprise as Sif. We need more of her in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And, of course, Kat Dennings was just wonderful from start to finish. Something about the pieces put together just didn’t make a good movie. Thankfully, Tom Hiddleston’s performance as Loki saved the franchise.

Loki was the standout character in Thor. He became a pop culture icon that may have rivaled Iron Man. If not for him, we may not have gotten more Thor projects. We may not have liked Thor, but going into Thor: The Dark World, we thought, “Well, at least Loki will be in it.” He became the draw. People didn’t flock to the theaters to see Thor. Everyone wanted to see the God of Mischief. That popularity is the reason why he’s getting his own Disney Plus show.

Whenever Loki spoke, we hung on his every word. Obnoxious, mischievous, or evil, we loved everything he did. Without Loki, the Thanos and Killmonger characters may look different. He made it cool to be a comic book movie villain. He didn’t need epic fight scenes. He just had to be himself.
