The final episode of Loki is here. It’s sad that this is the last episode of the Disney Plus series for the foreseeable future, but this is also a good thing because the finale is sure to be epic.
In the third episode, we found out that the Time Variance Authority workers are not actually creations of the Time-Keepers like they thought but that they are variants from the timeline who had their memories erased. Then, in episode 4, we learned that the Time-Keepers in the TVA headquarters were androids all along. Not only that, Ravonna either didn’t know what’s really going on or she was fine with her life and everything the real bosses are doing. And then, the fifth episode ends with Sylvie and Loki staring at the castle in which the creator of the TVA is believed to reside.

After weeks of waiting, this could be the moment we’ve been waiting for. Who’s been behind the TVA, the Time-Keeper robots, and stealing variants and erasing their memories? Is it Kang the Conqueror, Ms. Minutes, another Loki variant, or some other entity that we haven’t thought of yet? Considering we’re talking about the multiverse, there are several directions this could go. Hopefully, the answers we get will be satisfying.
Once everything is said and done, what happens to the TVA? If Mobius does “burn the place down” like he says he will, it’ll leave a void in the multiverse. Someone has to maintain the balance of time and reality. The likely scenario is Mobius telling all the TVA workers what’s really going on and letting them decide what to do next. Even if they have lives to go back to, will they accept the offer? After who knows how long of being a TVA worker, this could be the only thing they know. A regretful, but likely truth.
Lastly, we have Ravonna. What part will she play in the final episode? Sometimes it seems like she knows more than she’s letting on. Then, during her conversation with Sylvie in the previous episode, it appeared that she was in the dark about the TVA’s origins as well. There’s going to be a moment where she’ll have to decide what side of history she wants to be on. Will Ravonna be part of the revolution or will she go down in history as one of the villains? Only time will tell. Yes, that was a pun.
