Captain Americas are being hunted, Aliens are attacking Earth for gambling purposes, and more comic book moments from July 2021.
It’s was an eventful month for comic book fans before the month ended. Thor gave up Mjolnir. He said that it will help him become a better king. Moon Knight No. 1 showed a new path for Khonshu’s Fist. It also debuted two new villains for him.
There’s also Way of X where Legion killed Professor X and a bunch of Krakoans to stop Onslaught’s hate from spreading. Those were only a few things that happened. Here are the other comic book moments that you need to know about.
Wonder Woman’s Lasso talks
Comic book: Wonder Woman No. 776
Wonder Woman is continuing her tour across the realms. This issue puts her in the land of the Faeries called Elfame. After defeating her foe and putting a new ruler in charge, Diana had to get to Earth. Knowing that the former king wouldn’t tell her, Diana reached for her new purple lasso and it spoke to her saying, “Use us.” After she’s shown the way to Earth, it spoke again. It asked if Diana required more from, “this creature.” A secret she’s keeping to herself.
Why is this important?
There’s no way this ends well. First, magic comes with a price. Especially the ones you don’t know about. Second, Siegfried mentioned where it came from and Wonder Woman cut him off. It’s weird that Diana wouldn’t allow him to ask questions. Specifically, since it’s from his realm. He must know something about it. Lastly, don’t be shocked if the lasso affects Diana’s decision-making.
