Emma Frost knows the secret

Comic book: X-Men: Inferno No. 2

Before Xavier, Magneto, and Moira decided on picking Colossus for the Quiet Council, they went to Emma Frost (X-Men: Inferno No. 2). With Destiny on the Quiet Council, they needed someone who understands the gravity of the situation. When Emma read Moira’s mind, she saw how grave everything is. Like Xavier, seeing everything that happened made her fall back in pain and shock. She also recovered, upset that they kept this from her. She departed saying she’ll give the matter “consideration.” Even worse, she says she’ll never trust him again.

Why is this important

Emma thought that she was in the loop with Xavier and Magneto. Especially since they’re both on the Quiet Council and have a history together. She was hurt that she wasn’t. Emma Frost isn’t someone you want to cross. She can be vindictive when she’s crossed.

The tag for Inferno has been that you can’t trust anyone. This could mean Emma could use this information to her advantage. She’s already helped Mystique after getting bribed. Who knows where this is going to go next.
