It’s been 10 years since Jeremy Renner made his first debut as Hawkeye/Clint Barton in Marvel’s Thor (2011), and the actor has since become a staple in the MCU. And though the Academy Award nominee was ready to walk away from the major movie franchise after his daughter was born a few years back, he’s definitely in it for the long haul now with his first solo show debuting today on Disney+.

Hawkeye follows the titular character and his relationship with Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld), a character fans will know from the comics. The first two episodes of the new series were released on Disney+ in the early hours this morning, and fans are super excited about the Christmas theme.

As we wait for Hawkeye episode 3 to be released, let’s discuss the personal life of Jeremy Renner, namely his relationship status.

Who is Jeremy Renner dating (2021)?

At this time, it looks like Renner is currently single. But of course, that hasn’t always been the case. The Marvel actor was actually married to actress Sonni Pacheco for a brief time in 2014. The two share a daughter together named Ava Berlin Renner, who is now eight years old.

According to Ranker, Renner has been linked to a few A-list celebrities such as Eiza González and Rashida Jones. Although the actor does share personal posts on his Instagram with family and his dogs, there is no evidence of a special someone on his page.

Jeremy Renner wife controversy

Renner might not be known for his extensive dating history in Hollywood, however many might remember the serious allegations his ex-wife made against him in 2019. As reported by TMZ, Pacheco accused the actor of saying he wanted to kill her, also alleging that Renner put a gun in his mouth and threatened to kill himself. Both actors reportedly accused one another of having a drug problem.

Just earlier this month, according to Page Six, Renner acknowledged Pacheco’s accusations while being interviewed by Men’s Health. He declined to weigh in, instead saying:

"“I don’t respond publicly or privately to nonsense. It only empowers it. . . . If you respond to it, you give it gas. I don’t fuel s**t fires. I just don’t do it. I refuse to.”"

Renner is keeping busy promoting Hawkeye, recently stopping by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and attending a fan screening alongside Hailee Steinfeld in New York City this week.

New episodes of Hawkeye air every Wednesday on Disney+.
