By Mark Lynch
These are the most important Marvel comic book moments of the month of November.
Memorable comic book moments have been coming every week. In DC Comics, Batman: Fear State wrapped up with Poison Ivy saving Gotham City and Batman defeating Peacekeeper 01. Moreover, in Joker No. 9, Jim Gordon found out that someone is creating villains to send to Gotham to fight Batman.
On the Marvel side of things, Wilson Fisk proposed to Typhoid Mary (Daredevil No. 35). In that same issue, we saw the tension between the NYPD and the superheroes of New York build up. This will lead to the Marvel Comics’ event Devil’s Reign.
Those are only some examples of what went down in the world of Marvel Comics. Here are the other important comic book moments fans should know about.
Thanos is Eternals Prime
Comic book: Eternals No. 7
Druig came up with a plan. He wanted to make Thanos Eternal Prime. This would put the Mad Titan in charge of the Eternals. He assumed having the ability to destroy Thanos up gave him power over the Mad Titan. He thought wrong. Once Thanos became Eternal Prime, he crushed Druig’s head. Now, Thanos is in charge and he was put there by the proper means.
Why is this important?
Druig made a dire mistake. It’s one thing for Thanos to sneak his way into power. It’s another for him to get there following the proper protocols. The Eternals are all about rules. This may cause them to think otherwise. This will be one of many things that causes the Eternals to rethink how they go about their lives.
