The universe is expanding… hang on to your hats
The nightmare of all of Strange’s worst fears comes true as he tries to repair the damages from No Way Home, which fractured the multiverse. However, while Strange is suffering, fans might get a real kick out of the possible cameos that might appear due to the connection of the multiverse.
Now that Disney has the rights for Marvel characters within FOX Studios, there is no doubt that we might see some familiar… extraordinary faces. Some might even say its… exceptional.
Our first in-depth look at Scarlet Witch in Doctor Strange 2
While we don’t know the specifics of how these characters play into the movie yet — things are hinting at a massive crossover that will impact the future of the MCU as we know it. The concept of the multiverse and its troubles was hinted within WandaVision, and Loki.
Also, in the trailer we see Wanda Maximoff standing before Scarlet Witch, kneeling on the ground and in tears–all while the home shown in WandaVision, the house she and Vision were to grow old in, is on display. Is she destined for the antagonistic future that rumors had us fearing? The trailer certainly seems to suggest so!
Young Avengers set up continues
And finally, the latest character to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe, America Chavez makes her debut in Doctor Strange 2.
One of the members of the Young Avengers in the Marvel Comics, she is one of the first Puerto Rican Marvel superheroes – another big step for representation in the MCU. And with the MCU continually hinting towards a Young Avengers project in the future, expect big things for her going forward.
