Ms. Marvel is not coming to Disney Plus in March 2022

Marvel fans have been eagerly awaiting Ms. Marvel in 2022, but we now know that it won’t be showing up this month. 

The Marvel Cinematic Universe’s expansion onto the small screen continues through its Disney Plus shows. With the likes of WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, Marvel’s What If…? and Hawkeye all in the rear-view mirror (and all leaving us talking about them while they’re there), MCU fans set their sights on what’s next.

It was initially thought that Ms. Marvel would be the next installment of the MCU on the streaming service but that wasn’t to be.

Yes, unfortunately, fans of Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani) will have to wait a little longer for the show to arrive on Disney Plus. Hawkeye took its fall 2021 place, meaning that Ms. Marvel would arrive later than anticipated. It’s understandable given that the Jeremy Renner and Hailee Steinfeld-led series is a holiday-themed show, but it’s still disappointing for fans of Ms. Marvel as they spent much of the year thinking it would close out 2021. Now, however, it’s clear it won’t arrive in the first month of this year either.

When can we expect this groundbreaking Marvel Studios series to premiere on the streaming service?

Does Ms. Marvel have a release date?

Ms. Marvel is now reportedly set to be released in summer 2022. Disney confirmed that release window last year and since then, there have been a number of new updates in regards to when audiences can expect it to premiere.

We know that the summer release does hold up because at the Disney Shareholders Webcast it was confirmed that the show would be next in line (following Moon Knight of course), meaning that Ms. Marvel will be released before She-Hulk. Moreover, a new report suggests that it will premiere in June given that a red carpet ceremony for the show has seemingly been revealed.

Here’s hoping we have more updates on the release of Ms. Marvel season 1 very soon! For now though, summer 2022 is the target.
