What We Do In The Dark’s Harvey Guillen will voice Nightwing in Harley Quinn season 3

Harley Quinn season 3 has been highly anticipated since season 2 ended. There was initially a two year silence regarding the return of the animated TV show as fans anticipated its third season. DC FanDome then gave fans something to hold on to, but we all wanted more. Then, writer Tee Franklin wrote the Harley Quinn: The Animated Series: The Eat. Bang! Kill. Tour. A continuation of what happened after Harley and Poison Ivy left Gotham.

The comic book introduced readers to a lot of faces we haven’t seen in the show yet. Among them was Nightwing. During that issue, Dick Grayson was everything that you’d want from the character. He was charismatic, heroic, and had great glutes (as Harley and Ivy pointed out). If you enjoyed Nightwing in that series, there’s good news: You’ll finally meet him in the third season of the animated series.

This was confirmed through the announcement that his voice actor had been cast. According to Deadline, Harvey Guillén from What We Do In The Shadows will voice the protector of Blüdhaven.

Harvey Guillen brings Nightwing to Harley Quinn season 3

What We Do In The Shadows is a highly regarded series. While this writer hasn’t seen it, he looked Harvey Guillén up it’s clear that he is a perfect choice. He has all the charm and presence needed to truly make Nightwing the voice we’ll hear when we read him in the comics. Plus, the most well-known version of the character these days is the angrier Dick Grayson from Titans (brought to life magnificently by Brenton Thwaites), so this will bring back the more comic-accurate light-hearted version of the character.

Harley and Ivy are seemingly on their way to Central City in season 3 where The Flash is their protector. We can assume this won’t be their only stop. At some point, they’ll likely make their way back to Gotham City. To get there, they may have to go back the way they came. That means they’ll have to go through Bludhaven. Then again, maybe they’ll cross paths with the Wally West version of the Scarlet Speedster, who is Dick Grayson’s best friend. That’s more than a reason for him to be there. Or, maybe Nightwing shows up to team up with Wally, Harley, and Ivy.

Whatever happens, this writer is very excited to see and hear Nightwing on the show!
