Harley Quinn season 3 could be coming to HBO Max in the summer of 2022.

The first two seasons of Harley Quinn were flawless – so much so that whenever any news about the show comes out, fans get excited. Over the last couple of months, there has been a lot to look forward to. First, it was announced that Kite Man would be getting his own spinoff; a show is said to be like Cheers, except based in a supervillain bar. After that, it was revealed that Harvey Guillen was cast to play Dick Grayson, a.k.a. Nightwing in Harley Quinn season 3. Speaking of season 3, it may debut sooner rather than later.

Season 3 of Harley Quinn is one of the most anticipated shows of 2022. Fans have been patiently waiting for any news on when it may debut. Now we may have it.

As reported by Screen Rant, the show may debut this summer. Harley Quinn’s producer Patrick Schumacker teased season 3’s release date on Twitter, saying the season it’ll come out rhymes with, “schmummer.” Now, this writer is no genius, but, winter is over and spring, and fall don’t rhyme with schmummer. That only leaves summer.

With all of the previous updates, fans had started to suspect that we may not get new episodes of the show until much later in the year. Thus, this confirmation of the release window will likely be a pleasant surprise for them.

Summer is the perfect time for Harley Quinn season 3

HBO Max has been one of the best streaming services on the market. Besides having access to old shows like Game of Thrones, The Wire, and The Sopranos, there are the HBO Max exclusives like Peacemaker and Minx, which are among the must-see original shows. Harley Quinn is going to fit right in, especially if it arrives in the summer – as that is the season typically associated with comic book movies. Maybe it’s time for the genre to take over TV as well.

With Harley’s fandom from the comics, the Harley Quinn: The Animated Series: The Eat. Bang! Kill. Tour comic book continuing season 2, and the recent casting and spinoff news, season 3 should satisfy fans when it does arrive. Who knows? Maybe it’ll break streaming records as well.
