Episode 4 of Moon Knight on Disney Plus could be considered slow. There was a lot of talking and the low lit journey to Alexander the Great’s tomb didn’t help. However, never doubt a Marvel Studios project. That slow build leads to an exciting ending. We see the final resting place of Alexander the Great and where Ammit was being held. To top it off, Marc Spector was shot and killed protecting Layla El-Faouly. Those familiar with Moon Knight knew this wasn’t the end.

The next time we see Marc he’s in a mental asylum. He eventually realizes that nothing is right. When that happens, he runs away and frees Steven Grant. The two of them run around the asylum looking for an exit and run into the Egyptian God Taweret. She greets them with a very sweet, “Hi.” Marc and Steven scream in terror as the episode ends.

What to expect in episode 5 of Moon Knight

The next episode of Moon Knight will likely get into where Marc and Steven are. The asylum is reminiscent of the Moon Knight comic book series written by Jeff Lemire. In that series, we see Marc attempting to escape captivity. Just like in episode 4, things aren’t what they seem. Viewers should anticipate more supernatural and mind-bending visuals in episode 5.

Viewers will also get more about the gods. Taweret was probably the one that saved them. Just like we heard in episode 3, not all of the gods are against Khonshu. Marc and Steven being saved is proof of that. This writer can’t wait to see Taweret’s story.

Yet again, viewers saw hints of the third personality. Another sarcophagus was shaking when Steven and Marc were trying to escape the asylum. Does this mean we’ll finally meet Jake Lockley? And, if we do, was he the one who killed Layla’s father? Marc was hesitant when she asked who killed him. Marc may not have, but Jake could’ve. Hopefully not. It would be disappointing if Raoul Bushman wasn’t the culprit.
