Harley Quinn season 3 finally gets a trailer (and a HBO Max premiere date)
By Mark Lynch
The first trailer for Harley Quinn season 3 was released and it confirmed the show’s release date.
In April, Harley Quinn’s producer Patrick Schumacker said that season 3 would debut in a season that rhymes with “schmummer.” Two days prior to this article, it was announced that more news for the Harley Quinn season 3 premiere would come soon. They weren’t kidding.
A new trailer for the popular DC Comics TV show has arrived and it gave fans an official release date. That’s right, they can expect to see the show premiere on July 28.
The trailer (that you can see above) was everything that fans of Harley Quinn could have wanted. First, there’s the continued love story of Ivy and Harley. They’re still in love with each other and enjoying their honeymoon. Or, as Harley said it (and comic book writer Tee Franklin wrote it), beginning their eat, bang, kill tour. Second, a lot of popular characters were seen making their returns.
Of course Clayface and King Shark are back. The show may be named after Harley, but Clayface and King Shark are crucial to the show’s dynamic. They’re both funny in their own ways. Clayface’s overacting makes him hilarious. King Shark seems sweet until he’s pushed and he reminds you he’s a giant shark. Batman and Catwoman (who’s had a major scene removed from the season) are back as well. Of course, with Harley Quinn comes The Joker, who’s apparently running for Mayor of Gotham City.
There’s going to be a lot going on in season 3 of Harley Quinn. We’re going to see more DC Comics’ characters, creative violence, the evolution of Harley and Ivy, and, of course, a ton of shenanigans.
