Harley Quinn season 3 is coming to HBO Max in July 2022
By Mark Lynch
After over a year of waiting, fans finally now when to expect Harley Quinn season 3.
The debut of Harley Quinn season 3 has been as anticipated as any other comic book show. It’s following the fast growing trend of adult focused comic book shows. Season 1 was a hit and season 2 was even better. Now, Kite Man is getting his own spin-off!
Thankfully, fans are finally getting a little closer to that release date for season 3 as it has been confirmed that Harley Quinn will return in July of this year. HBO Max announced it when they unveiled their line-up for the month.
This season will follow after the Harley Quinn: The Animated Series Vol. 1: The Eat. Bang! Kill Tour comic book by writer Tee Franklin. A series that showed Harley and Poison Ivy after they left Ivy’s almost wedding, Ivy was the one in need of emotional help. Thankfully, her new girlfriend Harley was there to help her through it.
The comic book also ended with Harley and Ivy making their way to The Flash’s home town, Central City.
Harley Quinn season 3 expectations
One thing is for certain, fans can expect the same shenanigans from the first two seasons. King Shark, Commissioner Gordon, Batman, and everyone else we love will likely return for more fun. There was also an announcement that Dick Grayson, a.k.a. Nightwing, will make his debut on the show and be voiced by Harvey Guillen (What We Do In The Shadows). The character appeared in Harley Quinn: The Eat. Bang! Kill Tour comic book series and helped Harley and Ivy out of a bad situation. We’ll have to wait and see if he does the same again.
Look for Jim Gordon to continue his vendetta against Harley Quinn. It doesn’t matter that they aren’t in Gotham City anymore. Gordon wants her arrested for ruining his career and making Gotham separate from the United States. Christopher Meloni has done an A+ job as Gordon and will continue to do so. Expect even bigger explosions, bad plans, and more from Gotham City’s police commissioner.
