The critically acclaimed Disney+ series Ms. Marvel introduced home audiences to Kamala Khan for the first time, and the result was a major success that has many fans eager to know more about what is happening with Ms. Marvel season 2.

The final moments of the seventh TV show in the MCU had some pretty big revelations, including the fact that the titular hero is a mutant like the X-Men instead of an Inhuman like she is in the comics. There is also a nod to The Marvels with a jaw-dropping cameo that most assuredly shocked subscribers.

The six well-crafted entries were an incredibly entertaining endeavor, and the show’s scores on Rotten Tomatoes back that up as it has attained some of the highest ratings of any Marvel series on Disney+. The visual style of the series, action sequences, and brilliant performances led by Iman Vellani are some of the reasons as to why it is a must-watch affair.

But now that the dust has settled and the credits have rolled, many viewers would like to know if another set of episodes is on the agenda. Here is everything fans should know about Ms. Marvel season 2, including rumors, casting news, release date predictions, and more.

Is Ms. Marvel season 2 coming to Disney+?

Like Moon Knight and WandaVision, Ms. Marvel was billed as a limited series from the beginning. But it isn’t crazy to think that Marvel could change their minds and give the mutant superhero another set of entries for subscribers to enjoy.

While it is unknown if another set of episodes is on the agenda, fans should rest assured that Vellani will return as Ms. Marvel in the Captain Marvel sequel The Marvels, as established in the show’s post-credit scene with the Brie Larson cameo appearance. A setup for season 2 of Ms. Marvel could happen in the 33rd MCU flick, but that’s just speculation at this point.

The directors of the Disney+ series spoke with Entertainment Weekly about the possibility of doing Ms. Marvel season 2. Fallah said that would be a great idea, with El Arbi agreeing it would be awesome to do another set of episodes. He went on to say:

"A Ms. Marvel movie would also be awesome. If they ask us, we’ll be there. We’ll see what happens with The Marvels, where Iman is there, too. If we can get the chance to explore more of her world and her friends and her family, there are more elements to the story. We can go even further."

Is there a release date for Ms. Marvel season 2?

There is no release date for Ms. Marvel season 2, and that information usually pops up after a renewal announcement happens, which has not yet occurred. But there is a continuation of the series already coming out that is also a sequel to the 21st film in the MCU.

The Marvels is set to release in July 2023, barring any setbacks, so it’s probably a good idea for fans to rule out a Ms. Marvel series return in 2023. If one had to guess, the earliest fans could see the show come back is 2024.

Who will be in the cast for Ms. Marvel season 2?

No official cast list has been released for Ms. Marvel season 2, but it’s hard to imagine most of the key cast members not making a triumphant comeback. Vellani would absolutely have to return as the titular hero, and there is a slew of other characters fans loved from the first run that could very well return.

The Khan family, played by Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, and Saagar Shaikh, were a great part of the Disney+ series, and hopefully, each of them returns should there be another outing. Kamala’s Crew, including Yasmeen Fletcher as Nakia, Matt Lintz as Bruno, Aramis Knight as Red Dagger, and Rish Shah as Kamran, are also still in the mix, leaving the door wide open for their return.

And depending on what goes down in The Marvels, maybe even Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau or Larson’s Carol Danvers could show up. It’s really anybody’s guess at this juncture, and fans will have to continue to be patient for more concrete news on the potential next season’s roster.

Is there a trailer for Ms. Marvel season 2?

There is no trailer for Ms. Marvel season 2, and fans should not expect any kind of preview until after The Marvels. It is still unknown if Disney will order more entries, and the future of Kamala Khan passed the Captain Marvel sequel is unknown.
